3. What Happens Next ? - A Travelers Guide Through the End of this Age
Are we living in the end times? If so, what does that mean for us? These questions can cause confusion and anxiety in the hearts of Christians, but God wants us to be prepared, not scared; informed, not intimidated. Let's join Max Lucado on an optimistic and accessible journey into what the Bible says about the end times. These lessons will provide a solid foundation for understanding God's eternal plan and events like the Rapture, the Tribulation, and our eternal glory in Heaven. As Max teaches us, the end of our story is all about Hope and all about Jesus.
4. Biblical Apologetics
As Christian apologists, we must be able to explain what they believe, why they believe it, why others should believe it, and why contradictory systems are inadequate. Apologetics involves responding to any intellectual challenge to the Christian faith. Christian apologetics answers challenges to the biblical Christian faith — no matter who the challengers are. Join us as we learn to give a defense to everyone who asks for the reason for our hope in Jesus Christ.
Facilitators:
Deac. Annie Mickens
Min. Naomi Pearson
5. The Battlefield of the Mind, Part 3 - Onward Christian Soldiers
In her book, Battlefield fo the Mind, Joyce Meyers does an excellent job in explaining ten common negative mindsets. These mindsets can develop as a result of constantly thinking negative thoughts. If you’re starting to realize that being positive is becoming increasingly more difficult, please join us as we seek to recognize and understand these negative mindsets as Christian soldiers determined to overcome.
